If someone had told me 5 or so years ago that I would be writing my first blog post on Men’s Style, I’d tell them to get lost. I was the kid who was groomed into academia and my fate was pretty much sealed. It’s funny how things that were never meant to work out just never do.

I rather enjoy convincing people that I didn’t find style and that it found me instead. And to answer your next question, yes I wanted it to sound as philosophical as it did.

The truth is that style has played such a substantial role in my adult life (as limited as that may be). With it in your arsenal you are taken more seriously, you have somewhat of an identity and more than anything, you are given a voice.

And that is what this blog will be; a chance for me to say my say and say it in the best way I know how.
